Celebutantes: rich chicks who are famous because they are rich and famous.

Paris and Nicky Hilton have reigned the celebutante court of America for many years but, Kim Kardashian and Co. (her family) have successfully plastered themselves on tabloids every where. Who will be the Ultimate Celebutante? With sex tapes, clothing lines, and reality TV shows, it's hard to tell.

On Paris Hilton's Wikipedia page, it says she is a "socialite, heiress, media personality, model, singer, author, fashion designer and actress." Now, let's be honest; she is hardly a singer, she is a piss poor author (ya, I read part of chapter 1 of her book, Confessions of an Heiress, while looking at the clearance table at Barnes and Noble), she cannot act, and her fashion line is generic at best.
 

Ya, that shirt says "sexy" in an ugly disfigured font and, ya, that hat is covered of pink sequins and says "Paris Hilton" on it. Wear that, I dare you. These two items are from the Paris Hilton Collection.



Anyways, the point I'm making is that Paris is not half of the things that her fame can be attributed to. She is a socialite and an heiress. That's about it. Thanks, Great-grand-daddy Hilton!

Although, to be fair to Paris, I haven't yet mentioned the infamous SEX TAPE! Dun dun DUN!!! She made a sex tape and I'll admit sex sells so, oookay, Paris, I'll give you your fame back; you made sexy time and people watched it.

Kim Kardashian also caught onto the whole "sex sells" business. Good job; having sex takes talent. Kim's Wikipedia page attributes her fame to being "a socialite, model, actress, and television personality." Now, when they say "television personality," they really mean, "she has a mediocre reality TV show. "

But really, Kim's daddy was O.J. Simpson's lawyer. (Fame attributed here)

Kim has also starred in A Disaster Movie, and has produced her own work out video to help women get that big booty.

Along the lines of Postman's teachings, celebutantes will never have to have real jobs or talents. They don't need them so long as their parents don't stop giving them money and they keep up their sexy showmanship.
